CTEMF 2015/BassXchange/Four Tet

The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF) is a three-day programme of workshops, showcases and satellite events taking place from 6-8 February 2015 in front of Cape Town’s iconic City Hall. Established in 2012 as a platform for South Africa’s burgeoning electronic music culture and industry, CTEMF has gained international recognition for being one of the most relevant and forward-thinking events on Africa’s music festival calendar.

After an incredible first edition in 2014 that saw UK artist Murder He Wrote spend a week in breath-taking Cape Town to perform as part of the festival, Connect ZA and CTEMF are pleased to announce El.Train as 2015's BassXchange winner!

"I’m really excited to come over to South Africa and share my music with the people in Cape Town and also to experience South Africa as a whole. My Dad is from Zimbabwe I’ve visited there a couple of times but have never had the opportunity to cross the border into South Africa." - Luke Nyeke aka El.Train

You will find him playing at one of CTEMF’s Satellite events which will take place ahead of the core festival. Find out more on this announcement on the Connect ZA website but have a listen to the winning entry below:
