From the Archive: Richard Hawley

Well this is a bit of a special one!  We have none other than the bona fide indie giant, Richard Hawley, for our Selector Archive session this week.  Famously cited as a big influence for the Arctic Monkeys, the twice Merucry Prize-nominated songwriter has achieved an emormously successful solo career, with 7 albums under his belt, but started out in the Sheffield-based alternative rock band, Longpigs, before enjoying a stint with Britpop legends, Pulp.

This session was recorded back in 2005, soon after the release of the majestic Coles Corner. Hear the title track and 'Born Under A Bad Sign' below.
