Mercury Music Prize nominations

The Mercury Prize shortlist has just been announced in London. This is an annual music prize awarded for the best album from the United Kingdom and Ireland. Here at Selector towers, we are delighted to see that the list contains many albums by artists we have supported on the show. The winning album will be announced live at a ceremony held in the BBC Radio Theatre in Central London, on the 20th November.
