Following the success of the first SRA Selector last year the programme returns in 2014, partnering once again with Folded Wing - the well-respected, London based production company, and the Student Radio Association.
The SRA Selector program aims to give six budding young student presenters, from six different student radio stations across over the UK, the opportunity to develop vital skills needed within radio in a two day training event at Folded Wing's London Studio. Following this the six individuals will present the show every week for six months. Each of the chosen radio stations receive our 'kit' version of the show and are encouraged to get creative with all the fantastic Selector content provided. After the six months are up a winner will be chosen to take part in an international opportunity with The Selector.
Previous winner Jack Saunders hosted the show on Nottingham Trent's unviersity radio station FLY.FM and was able to develop more skills and experience with Selector Radio's partner station Ibero 90.9FM in Mexico City, spending one week with the Selector team there.
