Juice are an experimental female a cappella trio who celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2013. They perform genre-hopping new vocal music which is inspired by contemporary classical music, folk, jazz, pop, electronica, world music, theatre and improvisation.

Music Junction – London Chamber Orchestra's Education and Outreach Project

The LMP was a pioneer in the field of orchestral community and education programmes. It has been embedded in its local community in the London Borough of Croydon and further afield for over two decades. 

The London Philharmonic Orchestra is passionate in its belief that developing young peoples’ musical skills enriches the ways they think, feel and live their lives. Our Education & Community Programme currently reaches of 30,000 people annually via concerts, rehearsals, workshops and masterclasses. Although our work is primarily focussed in south east London, in recent seasons we have worked with children, young people and teachers in India, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand.

LSO Discovery is the London Symphony Orchestra’s Education and Community Programme. Founded in the late 1980s, LSO Discovery is recognised as one of the world’s leading music education programmes.

Its ground-breaking models have been adopted across the sector (its partnership work with East London music education hubs, for example, was in place before the national plan for music education) and the globe, with the Orchestra receiving an increasing number of requests to take education projects on tour with them when they perform abroad.

Lontano are resident ensemble at Kings College London, working with young composers, rehearsing and recording their works. The work of the ensemble is now central to the curriculum. 

Lontano are involved in educational and community work in London and abroad. If Walthamstow Market Could Sing, Unheard Voices, In Praise of Our Families and Voices of Youth, are projects involving both parents and children and are making a difference in a highly culturally diverse community.

From 2014 The Opera Group and Mahogany Opera are joining forces to become Mahogany Opera Group – building on their combined strengths to create even greater possibilities for future opera projects. Mahogany Opera Group creates new opera in new ways, in different spaces and places throughout the UK and internationally. It presents each distinct project with a vitality that stretches the boundaries of what opera can be and who it is for.

As the membership organisation for voluntary music in the UK, Making Music brings together musicians and music groups of all genres and abilities. Through this combined strength, we support, connect and champion everyone who makes, performs and presents music on a voluntary basis.
